Militaria:

Here we have up for sale a variety of items that were used by the US and other armies in WW1, WW2 and the Korean war.  Most of these items would be useful to modern day campers.  Some are probably of interest to militaria collectors only.

By-the-way, currently, local pickup afternoons, evenings and weekends, from my West Seattle location, is all I can offer.

WW2 Tank Drivers Periscope - $150:

This periscope is in well used condition. I believe it was originally fastened to an armored vehicle for use when under fire.

WWII GI Cook KIt with Canteen - $45:

This is the kind of canteen-cook kit I carried when I was in Boy Scouts. It is very practical for hiking and camping.

GI Take-Down Pickaxe with Canvas Sheath - $120:

This pick-axe is small and light-weight, yet it can do a big job.  It is perfect for car camping.

GI Trench Shovel - $20:

This is the classic GI trench tool of all time.

GI Trench Shovel with Wood Handle and Leather Sheath -  $65:

This is the venerable-antique version of the classic GI trench tool of all time.

Wool-blanketed and leather-Strap Bound Canteen - $20:

This is a classic Czech Army M60 canteen with cork stopper. In hot weather, the wool covering was soaked in water.  As the water evaporated, the canteen was evaporatively cooled well below the local air temperature.

Wool-blanketed and Canvas-Strap Bound Canteen - $100:

WWII WW2 UK British Army military canteen.  It is hand-sown. In hot weather, the wool covering was soaked in water.  As the water evaporated, the canteen was evaporatively cooled well below the local air temperature.
